JD Kraaikamp: This was Coach Random's reply to Paradigm Shift's strip the previous day. Thanks to the Cavalier Daily archives, you can still see what was going on.
This was the first comic war that Coach Random was involved in. It wouldn't be the last.
Scott Ruhl: When I started with the Comics page there were people with the paper who told tales of these great comic battles with cartoonists staying late to change comics or find out what the other person was going to draw. Sadly, as time went on most people were too lazy and didn't want feelings to get hurt.
JD Kraaikamp: There were never enough comics in the newsletters of either of my colleges (Keyano College in Fort McMurray and DeVry College in Calgary, both Alberta, Canada) to have a comic war in the first place.
