JD Kraaikamp: And we get a clue where Paradigm Shift actually appeared: At the top of the comics page in the Cavalier Daily. (Actually, Scott mentioned that in his commentary on the previous strip, but this strip was my first clue.)
In case you haven't been following the Comic War, Second Nature had a new character for 2001, in a box, and it fell, and went through the various strips, ending up at Coach Random.
Scott Ruhl: I remember asking Dave Werner's permission to run with this, and he said to go ahead so long as his character stayed in the box.
JD Kraaikamp: By the way, I wrote to Dave Werner not too long ago (this being October 2006), and let him know of Coach Random's new site.
