By the way, it was this strip that led one of the Random Informants to this site.
Random Informant: I was on TheSabre.com yesterday, scanning the football boards to see if anyone had any info on players out for the game on Saturday. Someone was asking about how long the drive will take to get from Alexandria, VA to Charlottesville. This started in on people talking about speed traps and such. Someone posted a link to your website with the comic of Bud talking to the female cop. So, I remembered how awesome Coach Random was, so I had to of course, travel down memory lane and read them all.

ajnrules: This may be the first cop strip where the cop wasn't a dog.
JD Kraaikamp: ajnrules, I've read through the archives several times and I agree. In fact, as far as I can tell, it's the only one where the cop wasn't the dog.
