JD Kraaikamp: It was said that the Nova didn't sell well in Latin America because "No va" means "no go" in Spanish. Actually, the car did just fine there. After all, there's a furnature company called "Notable", and we don't look at that word and think "No Table."
Evidently, however, Ford (and, oh, we love to bash Ford in this comic) got into trouble with the Pinto. It turned out that in Mexico, "pinto" is slang for a small dick.
